What are the important questions to ask any cremation provider?

  1. When you bring my loved one into your care, where are they taken?
  2. Do you operate your own crematory?
  3. When is the body cremated?
  4. Can I witness the start of the cremation process?
  5. Is embalming required?
  6. When and how are my loved ones ashes returned to me?

Be sure and ask these questions as you go through the process.  If you have any questions, please visit www.localcremation.com or call us 214-343-4040.  We provide simple, dignified cremation and graveside services to North Texas and beyond.

I am Wendell Cox owner of LocalCremation serving the Frisco community and providing dallas cremations to the North Texas area.  LocalCremation is a family owned business that provides a simple, dignified and affordable way to bring honor to a life well lived.  We offer many types of arrangement choices and services, and are committed to helping you with every aspect of the process.  Also, if your prefer a full-service, family owned funeral home, we are able to assist you with a recommendation.

One way we can be of assistance is to come to your home, hospital or nursing home to bring your loved one into our care.  For your convenience, you can make cremation arrangements in our office or with one of our cremation specialists in the comfort of your home.  You can also click on the Online Arrangements tab on our website www.localcremation.com and print, then fill out the required documentation to complete the cremation arrangement process.Other assistance offered is to help you in applying for benefits that are available for eligible veterans from the Veterans Benefit Allowance for a partial reimbursement of burial costs.  Also, special discounts are offered for Fire Fighters and Police Officers.

Our affordable services are possible for several reasons.  We do not have to maintain a fleet of vehicles or a large building that includes  the added expense of property taxes.  We own our own crematory.  There is not an another company or contractor used.  Also, our operators have extensive training and certification to manage cremation equipment.

Once cremation arrangements are made your loved one never leaves our care.  We strive for excellence in all areas of the process of caring for your loved one during this time.  At no extra charge an obituary with photo is placed online.  Losing a loved one is a serious matter and I want to continue our assistance by offering After Care, a free service through our Grief Care Blog. that is updated on a regular basis.

Our crematoryis located in Rockwall, Texas and the office forLocalCremation is located in Dallas at 8499 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75231, Tel.214.343.4040, Fax.214.343.4041.  You can view more information about our company and services by going to  www.localcrematon.com.

Hi, I’m Wendell J. Cox, founder and owner of LocalCemation, a cremation service provider serving Fort Worth, Texas and the surrounding communities.  Our services provide an affordable crematon service and burial options.

Due to our expenses being reduced we are able to provide a cremation service that is simple, dignified and affordable. There are several reasons we are able to offer this service. First of all, we own our crematory.  There is not an outside company involved.  Our operators have extensive training and certification to manage the cremation equipment.  Also, we do not have to maintain a large building requiring hugh property taxes, a large fleet of vehicles, and the expense of maintainence  including  a larger staff.

We personally come to the nursing home, hospital or your home to bring your loved one into our care.  If we come to the home, we can often make arrangements while there to expedite the process for the convenience of the family.  It typically takes an hour to complete death certificate information, sign the required documentation and obtain the revelent information for an obituary, if your desire.

Your loved one never leaves our care.  We strive for excellence in all areas of the process of caring for your loved one during this time.  We, also, offer other ways to assist you at no addition cost.  We provide discounts for all veterans, fire fighters or policemen who are either retired or fallen in the line of duty.  We assist in filing the documentation with the DFW National Cemetery and the Branch of Service to provide a free columbarium or burial space with military honors. An obituary with photo is placed online at no charge.

After Care is very important to me.  We provide a free service througth our Grief Care Blog.  This assistance of  continued help to you and your family at this time of the loss of your loved one is a serious matter.  This is why I want to be able to provide this service
